Dangerous goods, but safe!
The transport of dangerous goods is governed by ADR regulations, which include international rules for the transport of dangerous goods by road. It assigns danger points for substances and their weights or volumes and places certain requirements on vehicles and drivers.
This information is displayed in the route schedule of the enventa Trade ERP logistics module, so that it can be seen, for example, whether the number of permitted danger points on a vehicle has been met. The 1,000 points rule applies here. If exceeded, the goods must be spread over several trips or a special vehicle and a driver with a risk voucher must be used.
When used by the user, the corresponding data is also transferred to the V-LOG shipping software for carriers, so that contracted freight forwarders know which vehicles and drivers they need when an order involves the transport of dangerous goods. As part of delivery note printing, an additional report containing the legally required information for transport is automatically printed.
The Dangerous Goods module should be operated either together with the Shipping module or the Logistics module so that the associated loading documents are available at the same time.
